Two people were arrested here Thursday, Dec. 5, after a quick drug investigation.
Angela M. Schropp, 38, of St. James, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and Robert L. Quick, 42, of St. Robert, was charged with one count of the same charge, according to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department.
Bail for Schropp was set at $50,000. Quick’s bail was set at $25,000, according to the sheriff's office.
A “short-term narcotics investigation” was conducted by the South Central Drug Task Force, Phelps County Sheriff’s Department and Rolla Police Department.
Information gleaned from that investigation led to a search warrant that was served at a residence in the 500 block of Kyle Avenue in St. James.
“During the search of the residence, officers located heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia,” the sheriff reported.
