When Bruce and Deb Parton opened Our House Treasures this past year, they received a great deal of support and help from Deb’s brother and sister-in-law, Marc and Debbie Burnett.
As the Burnetts realized how much they were enjoying their participation in that business, they came to the decision to pursue a career change and open their own business, Morning Sun Gallery, LLC.
Marc left his job in the transportation industry to “mind the store” while Debbie continues to work at the Walmart Distribution Center. The bright and cheery retail establishment offers clientele a wide array of merchandise including: Antiques, collectibles, furniture, artwork, gift items, Tessa Long personalized jewelry, and Kris Ash Karma Naturals organic body products. The Burnetts are proud to feature several local artists in their merchandise and product lines.
Mark your calendars for the Morning Sun Gallery open house, coffee and ribbon-cutting on March 12 and 13. Open House will be held Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A Chamber coffee will be held on Friday, March 12, from 4 to 5 p.m. with the ribbon-cutting at 4:30 p.m. The new business is located at 107 West Springfield, St. James.
