The St. James Community Foundation and St. James Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a progressive dinner March 20 to help raise funds for the renovation of the old train depot.

The event will begin with a reception at the depot, sponsored by Phelps County Bank. For dinner, approximately 15 homes would be providing side dishes and Phelps County Bank will be providing beef tenderloin, prepared by Bill Kirgan. The event will conclude with dessert and benefit auction at Immaculate Conception parish hall.

Guests will be assigned to host homes. Anyone who is interested in hosting may contact Candace Connell at City Hall.

Tickets cost $30 each and may be purchased by contacting City Hall at 265-7013 or the Chamber office at 265-6649.
