Todd J. Busque was sentenced to 18 months in prison on federal charges involving a murder for hire conspiracy, United States Attorney Richard G. Callahan announced.
Between March and July 30, 2009, Busque, and Roy and Elsie Cameron conspired with Douglas Braidlow to commit the offense of murder for hire. They conspired to have Mike Gresham and/or Jimmy Dean Seest killed so that they would not testify in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine trial pending against Douglas Braidlow.
Busque, 32, Newburg, Mo., plead guilty in October to one felony count of conspiracy to commit murder for hire, and appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge Charles A. Shaw.
Roy Cameron, 42, Rolla, Mo.; and Elsie Cameron, 59, Rolla, Mo.; were sentenced to 72 months in prison, and four years of probation, respectively on Dec. 29, 2009.
Callahan commended the work on the case by the United States Forest Service, the South Central Drug Task Force, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, the Rolla Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and Assistant United States Attorney Jeannette Graviss, who handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
