Area road work this week

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced its general highway maintenance and construction work for the week. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected. MoDOT reminds the public to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signing and drive safely through work areas.

HeeHaw show set for Feb. 17-18

Locals will soon be graced with a HeeHaw show at the St. James VFW Hall. The purpose of the HeeHaw show will be to raise funds for the playground project at Nelson Hart Park.
