Summer internship applications accepted by Missouri State Fair

DAV attempts to identify veterans

A listing of 105 Disabled American Veterans has been provided to our local DAV Chapter 65, which serves the St. James area. These veterans have a disability of some unknown level, which was incurred during active military service and were honorably discharged.

Phelps County man sentenced on federal murder for hire charges

Todd J. Busque was sentenced to 18 months in prison on federal charges involving a murder for hire conspiracy, United States Attorney Richard G. Callahan announced.

 

Cub Scouts hold kite day

The St James Cub Scout Pack 95 is holding a Kite Day March 27 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Scout Lodge in Nelson Hart Park. Bring your kites for flying competitions and demonstrations.

PAT visits as the ‘Cat in the Hat’

Local piano students play in guild
