The Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that due to the generous contributions of Walmart Distribution Center, Phelps County Bank and FCNB Insurance, 250 local kids will enjoy “family day” at the Grape & Fall Festival on Thursday, Sept. 9, riding carnival rides at a reduced rate.

The 250 reduced price tickets will be sold for $5 each in front of the St. James Chamber of Commerce office on Monday, Aug.  16, starting at 4 p.m. – until all 250 tickets are sold.

Families purchasing the reduced priced tickets will be limited to the number of children in the family with a maximum of four tickets per family.

Tickets must be purchased by a parent or guardian. The tickets can be traded in for wristbands to be used during the “wristband” time periods that are established to allow carnival riders to enjoy as many rides as they want within that time period for one price.

This year tickets will normally be priced at $15 when purchased in advance and $20 when purchased the day of the event at the carnival ticket booth.

The $15 advance sale tickets may be purchased at Phelps County Bank, Town & Country Bank, the Tourist Information Center or the Chamber office prior to Sept. 8.
