The St. James police Department in cooperation with the St. James Police Explorers have begun doing an elderly check in the City of St. James where Explorers will be contacting elderly and disabled residents inside the city to determine if they are in need of assistance.
With the hot weather having arrived, it’s very important to make sure our elderly neighbors are safe from heat related illnesses. Every year the elderly around America succumb to heat related illnesses that can be prevented.
