August 22

An accident occurred in the 900 block of N. Jefferson, involving a 2006 GMC Silverado being driven by Elizabeth Gully of Vichy and a 2008 Ford Edge being driven by Amanda Bahr of Rolla.  No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at the intersection of W. James Blvd. and Meramec, involving a 2003 Chevy Silverado being driven by James Woolsey of St. James and a 1990 Mercury being driven by Aimee Guise of St. James.  Aimee Guise suffered minor injuries.

Police were dispatched to the intersection of Walters and E. James for a stop sign being down.  MODOT was contacted.

Police responded to the 300 block of St. Rt. DD in reference to check the well being of a female subject.  St. James ambulance was notified and took subject to the hospital for treatment.

August 23

Police responded to Marion Drive for a verbal argument dispute.

Police responded to St. Rt. DD for a report of a child endangerment assault.  Investigation continues.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Sidney St. for a neighbor dispute. 

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Scioto in reference to a littering complaint. 

Police responded to the 600 block of W. James for a keep the peace.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W. James for a report of stealing.

Police responded to the 600 block of N. Charles to assist the St. James Ambulance with a subject that had fallen. 

August 24

Police assisted Phelps County Sheriff's Department on I-44 eastbound for a vehicle failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Police were dispatched to Mobil On The Run for a leave without pay.

August 25

Police responded to the 900 block of Lyon St. for a report of a prowler.  Subject was gone on arrival.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Sidney for a civil complaint.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Emory St. to assist Division of Family Services.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Winter Drive for a report of property damage.  Subject's car had been scratched.

August 26

Police received information for a leave without pay at Casey's General Store. 

August 27

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Charles for a report of license plate tags being stolen.

Police responded to Marion Drive for a report of an assault.

August 28

Police responded to the 500 block of Walters St. for a report of property damage involving a truck being driven by Charles Burns of Newburg, MO.  Subject was towing a trailer which  became unattached from the hitch and hit a city street sign.  St. James Street Department was notified.

August 29

A traffic accident occurred in the 300 block of N. Jefferson involving a 2003 Jeep Liberty being driven by Michael  E. Gibbs of Salem and a 1995 Nissan Datson being driven by Taralynn McDowell of St. Robert.  No injuries were reported.

Police took a report of stealing in the 200 block of W. Hardy where a car stereo was stolen.

Police were dispatched to Delano Station Break for a leave without pay.

Police responded to the 400 block of Sidney St. to check the well being of a female subject.  Dorothy M. Cooley was found deceased and had apparently died of natural causes.

Police responded to Econo Lodge for a fight in progress.  Male and female tenants were arguing.  No damages or injuries were reported.

Police were dispatched to Matlock Drive for a report of drag racing.  Vehicles were gone on arrival.

Police took a report in the 300 block of E. Scioto of a prowler.  Subject stated that someone was banging on the side of their house.

August 30

Police assisted the St. James Ambulance in the 200 block of Cartall St.

A traffic accident occurred on the westbound ramp of I-44 involving a 2008 Cadillac Escalade being driven by Gerald Berkerle of St. Louis and a 2008 GMC Denali being driven by James Marr of Marco Islands, FL.  No injuries were reported.

Police responded to the 200 block of Opal for a possible ex-parte violation.

August 31

Police responded to Jana Lane for a possible ex-parte violation.

A traffic accident occurred at Delano Station Break involving a 2006 Jeep Cherokee driven by Jeremy Nicewaner of St. James and a 1993 Chevrolet Blazer being driven by Robyn Shirley of St. James.  No injuries were reported.

Police arrested Lisa English of St. James for stealing.

Police took a report of an attempt to steal flags from the St. James Flag Pole Company.

Police responded to Mobil OnThe Run for a leave without pay.

Police were dispatched to 300 Evergreen for a report of property damage.  Two overhead lights were knocked out at the Masonic Lodge.

September 1

Police were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Jefferson to check the well-being of a subject.

September 2

Police were dispatched to the 500 block of N. Charles for a disturbance.

Police responded to Mobil On The Run to assist ambulance with a subject having a seizure.

Police responded to the 200 block of Opal St. for a suspicious subject knocking on a residence.

September 3

Police responded to McDonalds Restaurant building for a report of property damage and stealing.

 September 4

A traffic accident occurred on the parking lot of Forest City Family Practice in the 1000 block of N. Jefferson involving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am being driven by Donna H. Piper, Cuba, M0, and a 1997 Lincoln Town Car being driven by Robert Gorrell, Bland, M0. No injuries were reported.

September 5

Police took a report of telephone harassment having occurred in the 700 block of S. Jefferson.

Police took a report for the theft of license plates being stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of Aida.
