Eight plead guilty to federal meth charges

The United States Attorney’s Office announced that eight people have pleaded guilty to  methamphetamine related charges involving their activities between February 2008 and April 2010, in Phelps County.

Matt E. Shockley, 38, St. James, Mo., and Amy Koepke Shockley, 29, St. James, Mo., pleaded last Thursday.

The following defendants have previously entered guilty pleas in July and August: Jerry D. Cook, 41, Rolla; Mathew D. Garms, 30, Steelville; Amanda M. Housel, 26, Rolla; Brandon L. Proffer, 23, St. James; Brenda L. Bonney, 40, St. James; Karen A. Cook, 26, Rolla.

Sentencings have been set for October  2010.
