The United States Attorney's Office announced that seven people have been indicted on charges involving the manufacture of methamphetamine in Phelps and Maries Counties.
The alleged activities took place between October 2007 and the present time.
Allen D. Bolin, 50, Vichy, Mo.; was indicted on one felony count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine and eight felony counts of distribution of methamphetamine; each of the following defendants were indicted on one felony count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
• George F. Moody, 48, Belle, Mo.;
• Shane T. Pierce, 30, Rolla, Mo.;
• April J. Christeson, 26, St. James;
• Jeffrey S. Huckabee, 39, Bland, Mo.;
• John L. Huckabee, 41, Linn, Mo.; and
• Joseph A. Curtis, 30, Alton, Mo.
If convicted, each count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000. Distribution of methamphetamine carries a penalty range of five to 40 years in prison and/or fines up to $2,000,000.

The charges set forth in an indictment are merely accusations, and each defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
