The St. James Leader-Journal is forming its second Readers Advisory Board, and we would like you to serve on it.
It is important to our publisher, Floyd Jernigan, and I to receive feedback from our readers and the community.
The goal is to organize a panel called an Advisory Board. You will then have the opportunity to submit your ideas, opinions on what you like and don’t like and areas for improvement for the St. James Leader-Journal.
Our Readers Advisory Board of five members will serve for three months and then we will allow another five persons to offer input. This will allow maximization of new and unique ideas to mold the St. James Leader-Journal into a better newspaper for all readers.
We would like to begin forming the board by the end of this month. The panel would meet once a month for a lunchtime gathering. We would like to hear your thoughts and have the meeting concluded in an hour or less.
If you would be interested in serving on our Reader Advisory Board, please email me at leaderjournal@charter.net. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
