The St. James Chamber of Commerce will host an Ice Cream Social July 11, from 10 – 11 p.m. at St. James Park for queen candidates and interested mini-queen candidates.
Queen candidates will have previously completed the application process. No pre-registration is required for mini-queen candidates who must be St. James residents and be entering Kindergarten (St. James R-1 Schools, Private School, or Home School) in Fall, 2009.
Attendance at the Ice Cream Social is mandatory by queen candidates and mini-queen candidates. During the event, each queen candidate will mingle and interact with the mini-queen candidates. Each queen candidate will select one mini-queen partner from the mini-queen candidates attending the affair. Selection is solely the responsibility of the queen candidate. There will be only one mini-queen candidate per queen candidate entered at the Grape and Fall Festival Queen Pageant. Mini-queen candidates will not be notified of their selection until the week following the Ice Cream Social.
