Vernon Lee Matlock of St. James passed away Thursday, Dec.1, 2011 in Rolla at the age of 79. Vernon was born in St. James on April 30, 1932 to the late Lee Roy and Ollie S. (Swyers) Matlock.
Funeral service for Vernon Lee Matlock will be Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Pastor David Peter officiating. Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the St. James VFW Post #5608 and cards are available at all James & Gahr locations.
