Rev. Loyd Charles Swyers, 76, passed away on Nov. 26, 2011 at his house in Bourbon, Mo. Swyers was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He was also the Pastor of C Highway Christian Worship Center in Bourbon, Mo., for 49 years.

Swyers, leaves behind his wife, Reia Sue (Manley) Swyers of Bourbon and his five children, Christopher Homer Swyers of St. James, Kimberly Lynn (Benedick) Swyers of St. James, Timothy Loyd (Sherry) Swyers of BonTerre, Jeffery Allen (Cheryl-Harris) Swyers of St. James, and Tabatha Sue Swyers of Cuba.

Swyers is also survived by; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Leola Furhing (Swyers) of St. James, and Ruby Matlock (Swyers) of St. James.

Swyers is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Martha Swyers, two brothers, Robert Swyers and Donald Swyers, one daughter, Elizabeth Jane Swyers and one sister Darlene Jones.

Memorial services will be held at C Highway Christian Worship Center in Bourbon, Mo., on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. 

Officiating the service will be Rev. Joseph Prance.
