She was a dear mother of Stephen (Beatrice) Earhart and James Earhart, dear grandmother of Stephenie (Rodney) Scarborough and Megan (Dan) Froemling, dear great-grandmother of Lea, dear sister of Martha Lou Mitchell and Mac Powell and a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Imogene was born Nov. 28, 1928 in rural Franklin County. She was the daughter of Frank and Bessie Burton Hance. She was married to Thomas Gremmer on Sept. 23, 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Frances Moore and husbands Omar J. Kreisler, Raymond W. Moreland and Thomas Gremmer.
