Terry Lee Hanes of Rome, Georgia, previously of St. James, passed away Wednesday, April 9, in Rome, Georgia at the age of 51.
Terry was born in Newport, RI on Nov. 14, 1956. The family moved to St. James when Terry was a young boy.
Terry was a 1975 graduate of John F. Hodge High school and attended the University of Missouri-Rolla. Terry fell in love with his future wife, Lynna, and married in St. James. They later made their home in Rome, GA.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary Hanes.
He had many friends and family who will miss him dearly.
He will be greatly missed by surving family, which includes his loving wife Lynna Hanes; daughter Tera Berardi and husband Carmine; and son, Christopher Hanes, all of Rome; siblings Enza Row, Sharon Tadon, Tracy Blackwell, and John L. Hanes, all of St. James; grandson, little Carmine Berardi.
Family visitation was held April 11.
