Deloris Amanda Echols, 85, of St. James, Mo. died on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Frene Valley Healthcare South in Owensville.
 
Deloris was born in Namioki, Ill.  on March 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Dorse and Nellie (Beacock) Cason.  On May 2, 1942 in Crawford County she was united in marriage to Phillip Echols.  She was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Bourbon.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; by three children, Leslie Hubert Echols, Michael Joseph Echols and Jerry Alton Echols; by her brother, Tom Cason  and her sister, Marcella Goodman.
 
Her survivors include her children, Phillip Echols Jr. and wife Teresita of Cuba, Marcella Beneke and husband Owen of Owensville, Ray Echols and wife Riva of Cuba and Dee Fox and husband Chester of St. James; by her brothers, John Cason and wife Maxine of Okla. and Jerry Manley and wife Pat of Cuba; by her sister, Ria Swyers and husband Lloyd of St. James; by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and six great, great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Jerry Manley officiating.  Interment in the Licklider Cemetery in Cuba.
