Edith Marie Beasley of Dixon, Mo, formerly of St. James passed away at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. on Jan. 6, 2010. She was 92 years, 11 months, and 24 days of age. Edith Beasley was born on Jan. 13, 1917 to her parents: Alfred Jess and Effie (Wolfe) Chilton.
Visitation for Edith Beasley was from 6 - 8 p.m. Jan. 9, 2010 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James.
Funeral services were conducted on Jan. 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James with John Scudder officiating. Songs were ‘On the Wings of a Snow White Dove’, and ‘How Great Thou Art’. Family and friends will be pallbearers. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Jan. 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia, Mo. with burial in the family plot.
