Bernard W. (Bernie) Winkle passed away Dec. 19, 2009 at his home in St. James at the age of 79. Bernie was born in St. Charles, Mo. on March 22, 1930 to the late William and Loraine (Young) Winkle.
Funeral service for Bernie Winkle was held at 2 p.m. Dec. 22 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Father Charles Pardee officiating. Interment is in the High Gate Baptist Cemetery.
