Dear Editor,
The St. James Tri-County Humane Society would like to thank a few local businesses for supporting our remodeling effort. We would like to thank Staples Flooring for agreeing to provide flooring for our office, and Wilson's Lumber for providing building materials for the office. Please support these businesses that helped to support us.
We would also like to thank all of the people who have stepped up and have helped get the new era of the St. James Tri-County Humane Society off the ground. Without your generous donations of items, money, and time, we would not be able to better our St. James Shelter.
Thanks to the volunteers who have come to walk dogs, play with the kittens, and to the people who have just stopped by to give animals treats. It is helping our shelter, but more importantly it is truly helping the animals.
We would also like to thank and congratulate all of the 31 people who have adopted pets between June 1 and June 20.
