The third-seeded St. James High School boys’ basketball team captured third place in the Hermann Tournament, held last week.
On Tuesday, Jan. 26 St. James defeated Montgomery County 70-46 in the first round. On Thursday, Jan. 28 the Tigers fell to Owensville 52-33 in semifinal action. And in the third-place game on Saturday St. James stopped New Haven 49-38.
St. James, now 10-8, is scheduled to host Licking in a non-conference game on Tuesday, with junior varsity action starting at 6 p.m. and the varsity contest to follow.
