Lady Tiger soccer suffers first defeat

The St. James High School girls’ soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season on Monday, April 14, falling to Four Rivers Conference foe Pacific 2-0.

It was a scoreless tie at halftime. However, shortly after the second half began Pacific scored two quick goals, which proved to be enough.

Eden Welch was in goal for the Lady Tigers, now 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Pacific also won the junior varsity game 8-0. Rachel Fetters was in goal for the Lady Tiger jayvee squad.
