For the St. James High School football team, its new district grouping will have a familiar look to it.
The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) announced Jan. 29 that St. James will again be in Missouri Class 3 District 7, with two of its three district foes also returning.
For the 2010-11 seasons Class 3 District 7 will be made up of St. James, Salem, Owensville and School of the Osage.
St. James, Salem and Owensville were district rivals the previous two years. Osage replaces Sullivan in the district. Sullivan moved from Class 3 to Class 4.
But St. James is familiar with Osage as well, as the Indians have been a Tiger regular-season opponent many times, including last year.
St. James, which finished 1-9 in 2009, has 10 offensive starters and eight defensive starters back for 2010.
