The St. James High School freshman girls’ basketball team improved its record to 3-0 by beating Cuba 47-26 on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
St. James bolted to a 10-2 lead after the first period and was up 28-9 at halftime. It was 34-15 entering the fourth quarter.
M.J. Buschmann fired in 16 points to lead the Lady Tigers while Jenni Webster and Maddie Kean each had 10 points.
Gabriela House-Lee had 12 points to pace Cuba.
