Missouri to host nation's largest gathering of enlisted National Guard members

The Missouri National Guard is honored to host the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States' 39th annual conference in St. Louis next week.

During the conference, Gov. Jay Nixon and Brig. Gen. Stephen L. Danner, adjutant general of the Missouri National Guard, will welcome thousands of Citizen-Soldiers and Airmen from 54 states and territories to St. Louis. Guest speakers at the conference will include Gen Craig R. McKinley, chief of the National Guard Bureau, and Lt. Gen. Harry M. Wyatt III, director of the Air National Guard.

The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States represents more than 414,000 enlisted troops of the Army and Air National Guard, their Families, and National Guard retirees in 54 states and territories. The conference will kick off on Sunday, Aug. 8, with opening ceremonies at the America's Center.
